Krasnohorska cave

This is a unique natural creation, which is included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage. This tour is suitable for all but requires special physical conditions. Children below 15 should be accompanied by adults. The route has rough terrain and you need special non-slip shoes to complete it. 

The entrance is located 1300 meters from Jozefina resort. You can reach the cave by a natural path.

The length of the cave is 1556 meters. During the tour, you will see one of the biggest Stalagmites in the world. Its height is 33 meters approximately.

This stalagmite was included in the Guinness World Records as the biggest stalagmite. While it is not actual currently, this is a unique natural object, which has no analogs in the caves of temperate climate.

The route is 450 meters length. The ground is rough meaning you need special physical conditions and non-slip shoes. The cave is not electrified and you need special speleological equipment.

Children below 15 years old should be accompanied by the adults. Children below six years old are not allowed to participate in the tour. Groups vary from four to ten tourists. It is better to appoint a tour via phone or email.

The cave is open from April 1 to November 30.

Entrance time: from April 1 to June 30 tour start at 9.00, 11.30 and 14.00. From July 1 to August 31 you can enter the cave at 10.00 and at 13.00. From September 1 to November 30 you can visit the cave at 9.00, 11.30 and 14.00.

Cost: 10.00 EUR for adults, 8.00 EUR for children from 6 to 15, 8.00 EUR for students and retirees. Shoes rent costs 1.00 EUR.
